Women visiting the Caspian Sea cannot go swimming with their families unless they are willing to go in the water fully clothed, or use a separate 'women only' part of the beach, due to the segregation regulations. For these women, vacationing along Iran's seaside consists of sitting in the sun either taking pictures or watching their husbands and children play in the water.
